Spring in the Garden
It’s not the veggies, but the act of growing, nurturing, and watching my plants grow during Spring in the garden that I love the most.
Kathy used to say I needed a good little rock to keep in my pocket. A reminder, a talisman, a source of grounding throughout the day of whatever wisdom or joy or higher level thought we should be present in. It would be a reminder to smile, take a deep breath, or remember that there is beauty, energy, healing, and magic at any moment. So, here is a rock for my pocket today.

The holidays are over for my family, and now we wait for the sun in the Pacific Northwest. The next few months show us just what we are made of.
I cannot control unexpected life changes, but I can control how well I prepare. It’s a new year with new, unpredictable variables.
Fighting the desire to write stories and stop chasing code, all I wanted to do was eat cake, sit with a cup of coffee, and read a good book.
